"What you can do...."

Many people contact us to ask "How can I help?"; individuals who visit our website, read about us in the paper, or hear about us second hand and feel inspired by our mission are reaching out to us all the time to find their place in our efforts. Whether by giving a financial contribution, collecting supplies from our needs list, or volunteering- there is always something you can do for kids on Cheyenne River. Every contribution, big or small, is needed and appreciated.  Keep in mind that all donations are tax deductible.

Below you will find some more information on giving to CRYP programs. Please keep in mind that you can also express your support by donning one of our wonderful CRYP T-shirts, hoodies, or long-sleeve shirts!

Monetary Donations:

These types of donations are so important, as they allow the organization to apply your gift where it is most needed.  However, if there is a specific program that you would like to support, we are more than happy to fulfill that request.  There are many ways to make a monetary donation: through purchasing wares or products of an organization, supporting a capital campaign, remembering an organization in your Last Will and Testament, or by sending a direct donation for general operating purposes.

In-Kind Donations:

The term "In-kind" relates to the actual donation of goods or services to an organization.  This type of donation opens up a lot of avenues for those who have access to items on our Needs List, or who can share a special skill with us.  It is truly a wonderful way to share a piece of yourself, while supporting a worthy cause.

Volunteering:

The gift of time is certainly  precious one and we know how little of it we all seem to have these days.  Volunteering with CRYP is a challenging, fulfilling experience and we host volunteers and service groups from all over the country and abroad.  Many volunteers will tell you that it is a life-changing experience, one that shaped their future course and open their eyes to new experiences and cultures.  We urge you to see our section on Volunteering for more information.

Fundraisers and Product Drives:

One of the greatest skills that any non-profit treasures is the ability to inspire others. To learn how you can host a fundraiser in your area, contact us and see our Needs List for assistance.
