The Cokata Wiconi Internet Cafe takes the cosiness of a coffee house into the 21st century, offering internet access, snacks, and a small stage area for Open Mic, poetry slams, and impromptu musical performances, as well as discussion forums.

Each week, CRYP opens the cafe to teens for a special night where all of these offers converge in once place at one time.

Starting in the fall 2007, "Teen Nights" have attracted over 30-40 participants who just need a place to go and meet with friends, try out a new talent, or connect with e-pals across the country and abroad.

While CRYP works on bringing the Teen Center up to full capacity, Teen Nights give area youth a taste of what's to come in the future, as well as what's already available here and now.

Not only are Teen Nights a great addition to current programming, but they are also a way to draw new participants into the center, so that they can learn a little bit more about us and what we can offer.
