The youth project is inviting volunteer alumni, the press, the Cheyenne River community and any interested members of the general public to join in our 20th Anniversary weekend, scheduled for Labor Day weekend (Aug. 30 to Sept. 1).

“The 20th Anniversary weekend will give those who have never been to our youth project a chance to see our Main Youth Center, Cokata Wiconi Teen Center and Winyan Toka Win naturally grown garden, and to learn about the many different programs we offer to support Cheyenne River’s children and families,” said Julie Garreau, CRYP’s executive director. “We’ve come such a long way since we started as an all-volunteer center in the former Little Brown Jug tavern, and now we’re ready to celebrate!”
